Agriculture and our Supply Chain
The Coca-Cola Company and its bottlers are among the world's top purchasers of sugar, citrus juice and coffee. We have a responsibility to support and promote sustainable agriculture - not only because it makes good business sense, but also because we believe we should do our part to preserve these resources for generations to come.
Agricultural products are ingredients in most of our drinks and the health of our business largely depends on the health of the agricultural supply chain. We also know that damage to natural resources and challenges faced by rural communities can have a huge impact on agricultural productivity.
Globally, the areas we focus on most are oranges, sugar (in particular sugar cane) and corn. We are working with our suppliers to make sure that our raw materials and ingredients are used in a sustainable way.
