Water Use
Water is a precious resource. It is also the main ingredient of all our products and without it we simply don't have a business. We also use it for heating, cooling, washing and rinsing during manufacturing.
The use of water has rightly become an important and high-profile issue - and not just in parts of the world that are prone to droughts.
According to the UN, up to two-thirds of the world's population could be suffering moderate to severe water shortages by 2025.
Water use is something we all need to take extremely seriously. So we're determined to use water in a responsible, sustainable way and have policies in place to achieve this. We believe the world contains enough water to meet personal, agricultural and business needs - but only if everyone improves how we use what we have.
The availability, quality and conservation of water are vital to our business success and the future health of the planet. So water conservation and re-usage programmes are now active at all our manufacturing sites.
