Economic and community impact

Managing Our Impact

The overall responsibility for the management of our social & economic impact rests with the CCE Executive Team and CCGB’s Leadership Team.

Our local community investment is managed at a national level by the Public Affairs and Communications Teams at CCGB and CCE. Both teams receive input from the Corporate Responsibility Steering Committee on major issues.

At a local level, community investment is looked after by CCE’s Regional teams and by the management teams at each of CCE’s manufacturing sites in Great Britain.

Working with government

We regularly engage with government departments & regulators in England, Scotland and Wales on a wide variety of public policy issues related to our business.

These relationships are managed by the Public Affairs and Communications Teams at CCGB and CCE. During 2006 & 2007 we responded to Government consultations on a variety of topics including England’s Waste Strategy (DEFRA), The Food Industry Sustainability Strategy (DEFRA), Standards for School Food (DfES, Welsh Assembly Government, Scottish Executive) and the Advertising of Food & Drink Products on TV (Ofcom).

We do not make any financial or in-kind contributions to political parties, politicians or related institutions in Great Britain.
