How we conduct our business
Quality Management
Global Quality Management
The Coca-Cola Company has a global quality management system known as The Coca-Cola Quality System Evolution 3 (TCQS E3). This system sets standards with which all approved bottlers around the world must comply.
It covers issues such as the management of product quality and the management of environmental, health and safety.
The system is consistent with international management standards ISO9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and safety).
All CCE manufacturing sites in Great Britain are fully certified to TCCQS E3 as well as having ISO14001 certification.
Quality Management at CCE in Great Britain
CCE has its own quality management system in Great Britain – Total Quality Management System (TQMS). The TCCQS standards are incorporated into the TQMS system. All of CCE’s sites are audited against these standards on an annual basis. The audits are conducted independently by a third party and include checks on real-life products purchased from different retailers.
Total Product Management (TPM)
In Great Britain, Coca-Cola Enterprises runs a Total Product Management (TMP) programme for employees and customers to ensure that quality soft drinks products are delivered to our consumers.
The programme encompasses the quality of our products through every stage of the supply chain – from initial concept, to eventual consumption by the consumer. The TPM programme focuses on raising awareness of the five key factors (damage, extremes of temperature, aged product, strong light and liquid contamination) that can have an adverse impact on the quality of our soft drinks and on promoting best product-handling practice amongst CCE employees and our customers.
