Developing Informed Choice
Offering consumers a wide range of soft drinks is a good start. However, we also need to give people the necessary information to help them make the choice that is right for them.
As you would expect, all our product labels comply with all relevant UK laws and regulations. In addition we’ve also voluntarily included detailed nutritional information (including energy, protein, carbohydrate and fat levels) on the labelling of all products of The Coca-Cola Company in Great Britain since 2003.
In 2006 we decided to go one step further and re-brand all our sparkling, zero-sugar products as ’Zero’ (except ‘Schweppes’ products which have kept their well known ‘Slimline’ branding). This branding helps consumers to identify which products are zero-sugar or have zero-added sugar.
