
Real change can only happen through strong, accountable leadership. For our businesses in Great Britain and the rest of the world, we have senior leadership teams in place to provide governance and manage risk.
In Great Britain, the CCE Executive Team and the GB Leadership Team provides senior level management and leadership for CCE and CCGB respectively.All members of these teams have operational responsibilities and are appointed based on their expertise and experience. These teams report regularly to the boards of the parent companies in the US. Both senior leadership teams have ultimate responsibility for managing all economic, social and environmental risks. They are also responsible for making sure that each business complies with all relevant legislation and internal policies.
CCGB and CCE are both wholly owned subsidiaries of their
respective parent companies, The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola
Enterprises Inc. - both of which are listed in the US.
Both companies follow the corporate governance guidelines of their
parent companies.

Due to changes in how corporate responsibility and sustainability issues are managed at national and European level, the GB Group did not meet during 2008. Corporate responsibility and sustainability issues were instead discussed at CCGB and CCE's joint 'Team GB' senior leadership monthly meetings and the CRS Board at European level - which meets twice a year. 'The GB Steering Group is being reviewed and reinstated in early 2010 to act in an advisory capacity to the senior leadership team.
