Corporate governance

Real change can only happen through strong, accountable leadership.  For our businesses in Great Britain and the rest of the world, we have senior leadership teams in place to provide governance and manage risk.

Governance in Great Britain

In Great Britain, the Coca-Cola Enterprises Executive Team and the Coca-Cola Great Britain Leadership Team provides senior level management and leadership for Coca-Cola Enterprises and Coca-Cola Great Britain respectively.  All members of these teams have operational responsibilities and are appointed based on their expertise and experience.  These teams report regularly to the boards of the parent companies in the US.  Both senior leadership teams have ultimate responsibility for managing all economic, social and environmental risks.  They are also responsible for making sure that each business complies with all relevant legislation and internal policies.

Global governance

Coca-Cola Great Britain and Coca-Cola Enterprises are both wholly owned subsidiaries of their respective parent companies, The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc, - both of which are listed in the US.

Both companies follow the corporate governance guidelines of their parent companies.

Managing responsibility

To help deliver our corporate responsibility and sustainability (CRS) goals we have a robust governance structure incorporating the seven Live Positively focus areas.  For each focus area there is a dedicated working group in Coca-Cola Enterprises, which reports to the company's CRS Advisory Council.  This in turn reports to the company's CRS Board Committee and the Coca-Cola Europe Group CRS Board.
