In 2009, The Coca-Cola Company announced a $30 million commitment over the next six years to provide access to safe drinking water to communities throughout Africa through its Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN). Implemented by The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation, RAIN will provide at least 2 million Africans with clean water and sanitation by 2015.



We work with WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) on a number of different projects - from technical lightweighting of packaging to Recycle Zone, our out of home recycling initiative.

We have worked out the carbon footprint of our drinks with the Carbon Trust and we are working on futher joint projects together.



Coca-Cola Enterprises works with BITC on a number of regional initiatives.



We work with Recoup, the plastics recycling charity, on a number of projects including Recycle Zone.



We have worked with SustainAbility on a number of projects including a materiality assessment.



Our partnership has involved CPSL running a series of sustainability leadership programmes for Coca-Cola Enterprises' leadership team across Europe.



We are members of the IGD and work with them on a number of initiatives.



We are active members of the BSDA.



We are members of the FDF and support their Five-Fold Ambition, amongst other initiatives.



We have worked with the Department for Transport's Designated Driver campaign since 2008, part of the THINK! road safety initiative.
