Employee Consultation & Engagement

Our Performance - Coca-Cola Enterprises

In November 2006, CCE’s employee engagement survey attracted a 75% response rate. In October 2007 parts of CCE conducted a mini employee survey as a ‘health check’ to see how the business was progressing. Again 75% of the business responded. The survey indicated that the engagement of CCE’s leadership teams had improved, largely as a result of work on leadership communication and coaching. The survey also highlighted that there is work still to be undertaken to develop communication to the wider employee population. This will be a key focus for 2008.

The results continued to highlight a number of key strengths. These included our commitment to career development, the general culture within the organisation, the existence of a strong sense of teamwork and CCE’s positive working environment.

In 2008 CCE will be focusing on a variety of areas, including talent management with a key challenge to improve the representation of women in senior roles in CCE, leadership training and reward schemes such as performance related pay.
